Lounge by the pool

Lauren left her cabin dressed in a designer bikini and a sarong, a towel over her shoulder and a sun hat on her head. Much like her sandals, her bikini top had been specially made to make her top half look much larger than the ironing board and chocolate chips that she called her chest.

Lauren was walking down the hall, humming to herself, when she bumped into something. Opening her eyes, Lauren saw that she had bumped into a cleaning cart and had just knocked the rather full trash can over. One of the cabin doors opened to reveal a cleaning lady, whose nametag read "Barbara", who was in her forties. The cleaning lady looked down at the trash can and groaned.

“Ugh. I just cleaned up this hall!” Barbra griped, looking directly at Lauren. “Since you’re the one who knocked it over, would you kindly help me clean this up?”

“Not my problem.” Lauren shrugged, stepping over the mess. “I’m on vacation because, unlike you, I have enough skills to actually get a real job!”

Barbra stood there aghast at what she just heard. As Lauren started to walk away, she glared daggers at the twenty-three-year old until she was out of sight. Barbara muttered something that would likely get her fired as she bent down and started to pick up the trash can. She continued her angry mumbling as she kneeled down to pick up the trash. Just who did that woman think she was?!

Lauren walked out on to the pool deck and looked around. Right now, there was only her, another woman who was sunbathing, and a little boy playing with a squirt gun. She looked disappointed to not see any lifeguards around to flirt with, but decided to just get a tan so she could flirt with another handsome guy later on. She took another look around to see if there was a place for her to lounge around.

Lauren saw a deck chair next to one of the lifeboats. It appeared to be empty as she walked towards it and sat down. Pulling a bottle of suntan lotion out of her bag and began to apply the lotion to herself. She had just finished applying it to her legs when she suddenly felt a splash of cold water hit her square in the back, causing her to let out a small shriek. Lauren turned around to see a little boy, around seven, aiming a water gun at her, laughing.

“Do you think this is funny, you little brat?!” Lauren snarled as she walked up to the kid. The boy continued to laugh until Lauren snatched the toy out of his hands, causing him to gasp in surprise.

“Hey! That’s mine!” The boy whined, getting the attention of a tall nineteen-year-old woman with long black hair, tied up in a ponytail, and dressed in a lime green one-piece.

“What’s going on here?” the woman asked, looking between Lauren and the boy.

“This stupid brat sprayed me in the back with this stupid toy!” Lauren explained, pointing to the item in her hand.

“First off, that ‘stupid brat' is my baby brother.” The woman said with a glare. Her look softened as she turned to the boy and asked, “Is this true, Kyle?”

“I was just playing.” Kyle whimpered.

“You know that it’s wrong to spray other people.” The woman said. “I won’t tell Mom this time, but I make no promises if you do it again. Now apologize.”

“Sorry.” Kyle said, looking up at Lauren sadly.

“Now that that’s settled,” the woman began, “Would you please give my brother back his toy?”

“Hmm.” Lauren said, tapping her chin. Then, with a cruel smile, she added, “I don’t think so.”

To Kyle’s horror, Lauren tossed the water gun over the side. The little boy gasped as he raced to the railing and watched the toy hit the water, sinking into the ocean below. Kyle took one last look at Lauren before bursting into tears and running away. The woman glared daggers at Lauren before chasing after her little brother. Lauren rolled her eyes as she sat back down on the deck chair and laid back, pulling out her sunglasses and putting them on before pulling her hat over her face.

Little did Lauren realize that she was being watched. Barbara, the cleaning lady who Lauren had insulted earlier, was cleaning up a spill nearby when she just so happened to have seen the transaction that had just gone down; and it made her blood boil! Insulting her was one thing, but to do that to a child?!

She was going to reap vengeance now, but the question was how was she going to do it?

Just then, Barbara heard a loud snoring. She looked up to see that Lauren had just fallen asleep. The woman looked around and, seeing as they were the only two left here, walked up to the sleeping Lauren and tapped her shoulder. She smiled when Lauren didn’t budge.
