Everybody knows the Wheel of Life turns. Sometimes you're at the top, sometimes you're at the bottom. Sometimes you're the poor idiot hamster running in the middle to keep it spinning on it's axis.

Dear Thruthers, I feel the need to just... Unburden myself a bit. All doesn't feel well in Never Land. It's not big big bad - just a series of several unfortunate events that built up more pressure than what I can handle.

In my town, the strikes are still going on. I had a full class today, but was informed by about 16 of my kids that they will be absent tomorrow. Considering I have 39 kids in my class, you'd expect me to be ecstatic at the news.

Not so. For the past 9 school days, half the class has been absent due to strikes. I am so far behind with my work that I want to scream really loudly, and I'm just falling more and more behind every day. We're expected to catch up the work with the kids, but we may not send it home so they can catch up there. We have to do it WITH them, while, at the same time, staying up to date with the new work.

Added to that, my grandparents are not doing well at all. My gradfather is menatlly so unstable. We thought it was his medicine, but I'm behinning to think dementia. I go there every afternoon when I leave school at 5. Today, he told me about his 'Wimbledon' days as a tennis champ and seemed to think I'm a reporter. He is physically not well either. Grandmother is cracking under the stress of looking after him. The family finally decided to put him in a full-service room at the local nursing house - now we're just waiting for a spot to open up.

To make matter worse, my dad was diagnosed with malaria today. He's doing really badly - very sick.

Also, I got a bill in the post that I did NOT bargain on this month. It's all just... A bit much.

But I'm fine. I'm coping. I know a lot of people who go through a lot more and smile.

So, the moaning part of the post is over. I decided I need to excersize more, and I want to share my work-out schedule with you, in case you want to join in. I'm sure this can be adapted to the coming (pun intended, yes) CAW stories.





So? What do you think? Apart from the work-out, it gives me an excuse to buy more books and spend more time reading.
