Actually, accusations fly left and right around here and no body really pays any attention to them. I don't think anything that deidre said was an issue until the getting her banned thing came up. That's what focused attention on what she said.

And you're right, prior to this banning issue no one had any real reason to believe that there was any bias around here. I thought she was just blowing off some steam. It was banning deidre and making you a mod that made those accusations believable.

Now, I'm willing to give you a chance and wait and see how you perform as a mod before making my judgment... but I think DD should also be given a chance to see if she changes her ways. That seems to me the only sensible way to defuse this issue and resolve this dilemma.

You didn't answer the question. If it was true that we (the mods) or myself kicked Deidre just because we didn't like her, why are you still here? After all, I don't like you, piggit doesn't like you, chunky probably doesn't like you and ejls would be too polite to say one way or another, I would guess. But let's say it was a vote system where we conferred amongst ourselves to decide if someone should be banned because we didn't like them. That's 3 against 1 at best. You'd be gone. Yet here you sit.

deidre79 was here for a long time too. Then ShakeZula was appointed as a mod, and the environment here because quite a bit uglier.

 

I've been doing it for what, the better part of a month now? Between the four of us, we keep the boards pretty clean. What other evidence do you need? Mod bias is a myth spread by Deidre and now DL because they don't like me. The only judge of my performance should be am I pulling my weight with getting rid of the spam and keeping threads in their appropriate places. If you have any other measure of how a mod should perform in this forum then you haven't paid attention to what our job is.

We post comments as we see fit, we share our opinions as we see fit and we flame or not as we see fit. In that respect we are the same as every other poster here.
